A Near Death Experience

When
I was 7-8, we lived in Ft. Worth, Texas and went to the lake there. I followed
my sister to the middle dock which is where the cool kids hung out. I couldn't
swim though and thought I could do this. I ended up almost drowning. I remember
sinking like a stone, to the bottom. Then there was a male figure who appeared
in front of me and there was this white light all around me. I remember just
having this really peaceful feeling come over me and I knew I was not going to
live but that I was okay.
The light was so bright that I could see
the stones on the bottom through the murky water. Then suddenly I was pulled up
to the top. Recently, I experienced this man again in a dream I had. I was
swimming around in a pool, figures were on my left and my right, and I was
circled in white light. The man said, "you know you are going to die, don't
you?" I said "yes, but I'm not afraid". In an instant, that dream
ended.
I took it to mean that I was going to die,
spiritually. That my old beliefs died, and I was to be reborn, with a deeper
sense of reality and new beliefs. Then I was on the computer, and I came across
Magickal-Musings.com and met Dr. Nefer. With her help I have begun my
journey into the spiritual world of magick.
